Athletics

My best event was runing and long jump.

It was very fun

WALT: develop fundamental skills required for athletics 

WILF: - Correct technique for throwing the discus and shotput

Correct technique for long jump and high jump

Passing the baton accurately in relay sprints

I am proud of coming third in the champs.

It was a challenge for me to beat Alfie but I did do it.

My next step is to beat Harvey in both of the runs.

Next year I would like to come second or first over all.

My best event was running the  because I came second in both of them.

WALT: develop the skills or batting, bowling, throwing, and fielding in cricket

WILF: 

- overarm throwing when fielding

- catching with hands held like a basket

- straight arm bowling

- eyes on the ball and move the bat all the way through when batting

The skill I am best at is batting because because if can hit it far.

My next step is to get better at catching.

Reading term 4

WALT:listen to a novel and reflect on the story as we think about think about the characters,settings,plot and the authorsporpose

WALT:  display excellence in all that we do

WILF: has been 'me' displaying 'my best, a can do attitude' in different situations, environments and in my learning.

Next Step:  I believe I still need to work on showing excellence in  athletics.I will do my best to do this in 2017.   

Oylimpics

It was year 5647 .It what the olympics day. They were competing in high jump. The world record was 6.50meters.The girls record was 5.03 meters.It was a pitiful day in New Zealand.The stadiums were 500 meters wide.There looked like billions of seats.A New Zealand high jumper had the silver medal the last 4 years he was expected to win and beat the world record by 0.32 meters.

He was going easy in the first rounds but he keepped getting over in one try.Intil he started reaching 5.79meters.On the 6.23meter bar he bonked in and it nearly fell next was the 6.34meter bar it took him all his atemps to do it finally it was him and one more person left .It was the 6.5meter bar he got over first try taking the world record the other guy makes it as well.Now was the 7meter bar he makes it third attempt.The other guy doesn't make now he was at the 7.10Meter and doesn't make it but he got a new world record 7.03meters and takes home gold.  

It was time to give the medals out but then 4 helicopters were flying over the stadium and one over the helicopters bumped a another helicopter and was going to hit the side of the running track.Bang.There was a lot of smoke and the fire engines were coming as fast as they could .Everyone had to leave the stadium.They called it out on the large speaker.It was very loud uEveryone amedeiitly left the stadium.They were Very scared.My great great great great great great great greatgreat great great great great great great great grand kid was there he was the boy who got gold.

2 hours later.The stadium was reopened but no one

Cared about the person who crash so Finn the gold medalist went to see who crashed.It was Rhyses great great great great great great great great great grandson .He was completely dead.The helicopter had bombs in the helicopter they were planing a bomb party.He was all covered in blood his last words were am I alive.He said that to the firemen.Then the racing was on the 100 record for 100 meter was 7.34 seconds.Usain bolts grand kid had that title.He had broke his arm and could not compete so a American guy was expected to win by 0.53 seconds.But then there was this reall fast guy It was the final they had both won all of there races.

Optimist yacht.

 

To sail a optimist yacht it will have to be a windy day otherwise you want move you will just stay in the same place? It is normally windy if you are at the beach.The beach is the best place to be if you go for a optimist yacht. Your boat would not go if there was no rutter and no mast.

We went to Auckland and it took a long but it was worth it .We went to the skate park we saw my cosines , We went to the Trampoline parK called bounce and Then we went to Piura and Hikitia…

At hikitia we went to see our hole Waite family.We had a big breakfast in a hall. It was nearly 15 meters both ways.We went to the school next and we had a sport day .The school had a amazing garden and rugby field.The school gates were 2.50 meters tall and it went around a humongous school. The gates were white and a little grey and orange.We played soccer,running races,basket ball and netball. It was really fun.It was time to go to bed.

It was the morning and we were going to go to the bmx track but then it started raining. So instead of going to the bmx teach straight away we went to go to have morning tea at the cafe a big .

Dad now can we go to piura bmx track . Fine but let me

finish eating “No i mean now.”okay”so we left and we were on the hi way  .There it is . I was there for 1 hour then we went back to the hall and said goodbye.Then we went back home and did...

We had to write a story about a jandle a duck and a key.

                               The gouse and the duck

He looks like a goose .He always played  duck duck goose.He was always called goose in the game duck duck goose.He had a very big family.There were eight ducks in his family.His fravrite food was orange ,bread and fish.He ate his own poop too.He had four friends jeff jeff,bob,rubet and joe joe.To live in it head to be very careful because of the dangours things.people,logs flowing down the stream and going past the the bridge because the goose will kill them.But one day joe joes friends went past the bridge,they were happy for a minute but then all of the gooses came running after joe joes friends.They were all really really scared.thay all drowned.then the gooses found a key to get into the ducks fortress underwater.In the fortresse with the ducks there were some magic gandles .Then the ducks resiled the joe joe and his friends all died. The gooses were getting ready to attempt a sneak attack .The ducks made the little ducks come back to life with the magical jandles .But then the Magic sandals disappeared . They could not stop the goose's with the key in the King goose's feather they made the duck live on the other side . On their side they did dent have a very good time. The gooses side had a really fun time.

The meter melon

Once there was an overweighted water Mellon named Jeff . He was in the final for paint ball. There was also 6 other water Mellons in has team . They were versing 1 hippo and 1 tiger .they were remote controlled. They can still kill you.all of the watermelons went srait to the river to hide except...Jeff " I'm going to kill you all yelled Jeff rappiad fire pow pow pow pow. Went the guns. One of the watermelons shot thother one of the watermelons and the hippo one .the tiger died . They had a big party and selabrated

The winding road reminded me of the gymnast’s ribbon, twisting and turning, as it disappeared into the distant hills. A lonely tree, stretches its arms proudly on top of the tallest hill. Its naked frame, black as night, overlooks the dry plains before me. Midway along the sand, I see my destination. A pond, shimmering, welcoming me. The awesome tree guarding the lands, reflected in the glow of the orange evening.
